A place to learn, for every child

We run a free community library and learning centre for children and families across Telangana. Books, computers, workshops, and a quiet room to study — open to anyone who needs it.

Why we exist

Education is still out of reach for far too many children

Across Telangana and the rest of India, millions of children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds leave school before they finish. Reported figures put the dropout rate above 30% locally.

The barriers are ordinary ones: no books at home, no device to practise on, nowhere quiet to sit. Each is small alone. Stacked together, they quietly decide what a child gets to become.

Bright Minds Foundation exists to take them away. We opened a community library, filled it with books and digital resources, and made it free for any child who walks through the door.

Where we are now

Growing carefully, not quickly

We are still early in this work. What exists today is a working model: books, computers, study space, and workshops, open free to children, families, and the wider community.

For 2026 and 2027 we are focused on steady growth rather than rapid expansion — reaching more schools, strengthening the partnerships that keep this running, and making sure every resource we are given reaches a child who needs it.

Our aim is simple: a future where knowledge and opportunity are within everyone's reach.

Our vision

A community where every child can reach good learning

A world where a child's background — not their postcode or their family's income — decides how far they can go.

Our mission

Close the gap in access, one library at a time

Free books, free digital resources, and a proper place to study — for every child who needs them, without exception.

About us

A small team, doing something that matters

Bright Minds Foundation is a community non-profit making quality education reachable for children who would otherwise go without it. We run free libraries and learning centres stocked with books, computers, and study space, supported by workshops, screenings, and teacher training.

We work closely with schools, families, and library partners across the region. Everything we offer is free — and it stays free.
